Malou Fusion

We carefully select and expertly vet two exceptional coffees from opposite ends of the coffee belt, bringing them together in perfect harmony. Sourced from farms in Africa and the Americas, these beans showcase the finest flavors and complexities each region has to offer. No fillers—just pure, delicious coffee.

Malou Oro

Once coffee has been processed and dried, it reveals a seed encased in a protective husk known as parchment. In Latin America, producers often call this stage “oro”—Spanish for gold. Our goal is for every cup to shine in its own unique way, delivering a coffee experience that everyone can enjoy.

Malou Decaf

As much as we love our caffeinated coffees, we believe our decaf deserves the same level of care and craftsmanship that defines specialty coffee. That’s why we’re thrilled to offer a beautifully balanced, mountain-water processed decaf from Colombia—one that delivers the same rich sweetness and vibrant flavors as any of our other offerings.

SWISS WATER & MOUNTAIN WATER DECAFFEINATION:
CHEMICAL-FREE, FLAVOR-RICH COFFEE

At Malou Coffee, we prioritize quality and flavor, which is why we use chemical-free decaffeination methods. Both the Swiss Water Process and the Mountain Water Process rely on the power of water to extract caffeine while preserving the natural flavors of the coffee. Here’s how they work:

SWISS WATER PROCESS
Soaking the Beans: Coffee beans are soaked in hot water, which dissolves caffeine and flavor compounds.
Caffeine Removal: The water passes through an activated charcoal filter, removing only the caffeine while keeping the flavors intact.
Reintroducing the Flavor: The water is then reintroduced to the beans, allowing them to reabsorb the flavor compounds without the caffeine.
This process uses no chemicals, just water and natural filtration to decaffeinate the coffee, ensuring a pure, flavorful cup every time.

MOUNTAIN WATER PROCESS
Water Sourced from the Mountains: Like the Swiss Water Process, the Mountain Water Process uses natural water to extract caffeine from the beans.
Natural Filtration: The water is filtered to remove caffeine, leaving behind the beans' essential flavor compounds.
Chemical-Free: This method is completely chemical-free, using only water and filtration to preserve the natural taste of the coffee.
Both processes offer a clean, natural decaffeination experience, making them the perfect choice for coffee lovers who want great taste without the caffeine.
